The Urban Unit was established in 2oo6, which comprises of various sectors like Urban Planning, Urban transport, Solid Waste Management, Geographic Information System, Urban Property tax and Land Records. All these sectors are not only operational but are also making remarkable development in different aspects.
GIS sector has a registered trade mark named as ‘IRIS’. Under the umbrella of The Urban Unit I have developed and supervised various GIS as well as IT-based projects. These projects were of both, the government and private sectors.
